Recently, our Singer/Songwriter duo, Lapidus & Myles, was featured in a wonderful article by the Atlanta Jewish Times titled “Lapidus & Myles Are Enjoying the Spotlight”. This article not only highlights our artistic journey but it underscores a significant truth: when you are on a mission to positively impact the world, being in the spotlight isn’t just desirable, it is essential!!!

For many people, the idea of being in the spotlight might feel intimidating or even a bit uncomfortable, and it is natural to shy away from the attention due to fears of judgment, criticism, or feelings of being overwhelmed. However, when your intentions are pure, your purpose clear, and your goals to uplift others are genuine… the spotlight transforms from a daunting glare into an illuminating force that amplifies your message.

The feature in the Atlanta Jewish Times reminded me of the importance of embracing recognition. Yes, it can be uncomfortable at first, but visibility allows you to reach more hearts and minds. The spotlight provides a powerful platform to inspire, motivate, and encourage people in ways that would otherwise be limited.

As an artist committed to spreading love, and positivity through music, every moment in the spotlight is an opportunity. It’s a chance to communicate our values, connect deeply with our communities, and demonstrate that meaningful change and joy can flow through creative expression.

So, if you find yourself with the spotlight pointed in your direction, pause for a moment, take a deep breath, and remember why you’re there in the first place. Recognize that you are standing exactly where you need to be to bring positive change. Step forward confidently and share your authentic self because, ultimately, the spotlight is not about you alone, it is about what you can uniquely offer the world.

Thank you again to Lauren Menis of the Atlanta Jewish Times for helping us amplify our mission. Let’s embrace the spotlight together and make this world a brighter place!
